1. Our commitment
We build to WCAG 2.1 Level AA: semantic landmarks, one h1 per page, logical heading order, visible focus states, 4.5:1 text contrast and 3:1 contrast for interface elements, meaningful alternative text, full keyboard operability, labelled fields with programmatically linked inline errors, and respect for prefers-reduced-motion.
2. Attendance status is never color alone
Roughly one in twelve men has a red-green color vision deficiency, and attendance status is the entire product. Every state carries a distinct shape — filled, half, or open circle — and a text label in addition to its color.
3. Keyboard and assistive technology
Every interactive element is reachable and operable by keyboard, in a logical order, with no keyboard traps. Dialogs trap focus, close on Escape, and return focus to the element that opened them.
4. Known gaps
A formal VPAT and third-party accessibility audit are not currently available.
5. Reporting a barrier
If any part of this site or the product is difficult to use with assistive technology, tell us and we will fix it and reply with what changed.
Use the institutional pilot request form to report an accessibility barrier.
